The Lord has called us, as believers, to be a light in the world (Matt 5:14). It is in His Presence, in the quiet place, where your spirit is ignited, your soul is set on fire, your heart begins to burn. A flame cannot be lit in the wind, it's in the calm, in the stillness of His Presence where the fire is able to grow.
It is His Presence that illumines us, refines us, reveals darkness, and heals us. We are called to step into the dark places, but a light cannot shine unless it is fire prepared and anointed with His oil.
From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.
