If only you knew…

If only you knew what it was like to have a heart on fire for Jesus, if only I could put it into words. A heart that burns for Him, a relationship that doesn’t come close to any other, that cannot even be compared. 

Words will never be able to describe His holy Presence, His burning flame, His love that He has for us, but a testimony, is more powerful than words. A testimony of the goodness He has done, the complete and total transformation of a person, things once dead brought back to life, hearts broken being restored and healed, freedom from addictions, and the greatest testimony being total forgiveness, death of all sin, nailed on the cross, our God, our Savior, dying for us, when He didn’t have to. HE DIDNT HAVE TO BUT HE DID. If you’re still wondering why me? Why am I here? You’re here on purpose, for His purpose, His plans. 

“Why am I forgotten?” 

“Why was I never chosen?” 

Have you ever thought about The Creator of all things, King of kings, Lord of lords, remembering you. He never forgot you. He chose you, He left the 99 to come back for you. 

Jesus is waiting for you to invite Him in, to accept His free gift of forgiveness, salvation and eternal life, He’s waiting for you to turn away and follow Him. Walk with Him, He wants a relationship with you just like a father with a son or daughter.

The Lord had been putting it on my heart for a while that I would start a business, but before stepping out in faith and obedience to become an entrepreneur, I struggled with the thought of “how do I own a business without it becoming about?”

“Whether then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭31‬

‭“Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.”‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭

“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.”‭‭Romans 11:36

What a gift an encouragement it is to know that it’s not me, but He who works within me. I couldn’t have done anything if it weren’t for Jesus. Although I’m thankful for them, I’m not looking for a “good job” or a praise, I’m looking for God to use me to accomplish His Will and good plans. To use me to make disciples, to spread the good news. God can use you, me, anyone. It’s not about our special skills, what we’ve done or haven’t done, it’s not about our gifts and talents, it’s about our “yes.” It’s an act of faith and obedience, it’s our spending time with the Lord, so that He can reveal to us who we truly are in Him. God’s not looking for performance, He’s looking for our hearts, a heart that burns for Him.Are we willing to lose anything in order gain Him? Are we willing to lose the approval of man in order to gain the approval of God? Are we willing to die to ourselves in order to live in Him?
